Show off your pets or animals you love!! All pets hold a special place in our hearts! Whether we have snakes, rodents, dogs, cats, chickens, fish, farm animals, an ant farm, hermit crabs or love a particular animal, it is a great day to celebrate them! On this day I will be especially thinking of the Florida Black Bear as we approach the newly approved bear hunt. Share photos of your favorite animal or pet! Consider starting a cause or supporting a cause that is for the benefit of an animal you love. I have been very involved in collecting signatures for bear proof trash cans in our area to help reduce “bear/human” conflict.
